It's very cool that Madonna is actually trying to do something positive for others, I don't deny it. But let's get real, the demographic of PerezHilton.com does not consist of mainly very wealthy people. I'm sure you'd make a lot more impact by organising (or getting one of your minions to) a 'celeb' fundraising party. Allowing this 'plea' to be aired on this website I'm afraid plainly shows Madonna trying to garner some positive publicity for herself. She's no idiot, but what she fails to realise in her arrogance, is that EITHER ARE WE.
For Christ's sake WOMAN, there is an enormous recession happening….joe public are battening down the hatches. And here you are, holed up in your multiplex penthouse (one of them), surrounded by your inner circle (Hitleresque) of PRs, PAs, Media Consultants, Lawyers, Secretaries, Nannies, Housekeepers, Butlers…..with your MEGA millions, and you wonder why you are receiving so much negativity from the public.
