God Tells Sarah Palin To Run For Senate?
So, what will it take for Gov. Sarah Palin to run for Senate?
Apparently God and the Alaskans.
In yet another new interview, Palin said she would consider serving in the Senate if God gave her the opportunity to do so, and if Alaskans wanted her to.
We bet Palin is praying every night for it.
As for Alaska's current senator, Republican Ted Stevens, even if he gets re-elected in the recount going on now (his race was too close to call), he could be removed by the Senate due to his conviction on seven felony counts of failing to report more than $250,000 in gifts, most of which were renovations on his home.
So if Steven loses his seat, Palin could run for it in a special election. Palin could also challange incumbent GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski in 2010.
Anything to get her closer to D.C. and being President!
Says Sexy Sarah of her political career, "At this point it is as governor. Now if something shifted dramatically and if it were, if it were acknowledged up there that I could be put to better use for my state in the U.S. Senate, I would certainly consider that but that would take a special election and everything else…. My life is in God's hands. If he's got doors open for me, that I believe are in our state's best interest, the nation's best interest, I'm going to go through those doors."

i really feel bad for the Republican Party. The Republican Party as a whole (or atleast I'd like to believe this) aren't as ignorant, and dumb as Sarah Palin and Bush. They are embarrassed for sure by these two that represent the really dumb minority that exist on both sides, but were given wayyy too much power and airtime. there is no recount in alaska. they are counting the early and absentee ballots from around the state. because alaska is such a big state with a number of its residents living in remote areas, outstanding ballots are received later than in the rest of the country therefore extending the amount of time to initially review the results. a recount will only take place if one, the difference between the candidates is with less than .5% (automatic and state funded); or two, ten people sign a petition requesting a recount (not state funded).

i actually have read the book of revelations. but thats all it is is a story. i went to catholic school my whole life and i took christian bible study at a lutheran school and studied theology at my christian college. so please don't try to give me a lesson as to whats in the bible. i heard it all already and i also know that everyone interprets it differently. the problem with some people though is that they interpret it as fact. its a story. thats all it is. God didn't come down here and write it. PEOPLE DID. and people make mistakes and are at times "wrong". just because the bible says something doesn't mean it happened or will happen or thats what God wanted- BECAUSE HE DIDNT WRITE IT. its just what people think he wants them to say "because they speak to him". theres plenty of people that have used "the word of God" to do much damage and honestly the only people that sit there and publicy try to sway people's views by saying "this is what God wants" i believe are radicals and dangerous.
