Why couldn't that Bailout package go to individual home owners who are facing foreclosure?? Why did it have to go to the banks?? That money would of ended up in the mortgage companies hands anyway, but at least this way Americans would be able to keep thier houses and had thier loans paid off instead of the banks getting paid twice for the same mortgage. The heck with the banks, bailout the consumers….

Re: JokerBaby – the biggest culprits of that crime are the blacks, they love living above their means! With one as president, I don't see much CHANGE happening anytime soon!

that is why the bailout as written, will not help. it is just throwing money to institutions who were not able to handle their money right. Now, it is being reported that the people that are eligible for mortgage bailouts were ones who had federally insured mortgages, not people who are behind because they had a subprime mortgage. and the subprime mortgages of course, are the ones that have most of the foreclosures. the government is just going to screw it up more and it will be worse in january. they really need to bring in experts on the economy, not a bunch of lawyers who don't live in the real world.

  24. 24

suuuuuuuuwheet!!!! let the numbers keep rising on these foreclosures!!! I will finally be able to buy a home that i can afford BECAUSE I SAVED MY MONEY AND WAS PATIENT!!!! Imagine that idea!

Well in January when Obama waves his magic wand to fix everything it will all be fine. Meaning…when he raises our (the hardworking successful people)taxes and give the people that are lazy pieces of crap who can't manage money and live above their means.

  27. 27

this is why i've recently become unemployed. thanks to all the lenders that funded people that couldn't pay the mortgages with escalating rates they couldn't afford.
