Vogue's been on the decline and it looks like they've resorted to going a little more mainstream to sell some mags.
Sucks for them that 'high fashion' can't pay the bills!
Anna Wintour's mag will reportedly feature Gossip Girl fave Blake Lively on the February '09 cover. And, First Lady in waiting, Michelle Obama, will supposedly be the March cover girl.
We actually can't wait to see our soon-to-be First Lady all Vogued up.

That dress was fucking hideous, not to mention unflattering. The dress was from Narcisco Rodriguez's 2009 collection, not available on sales floors ANYWHERE. Rodriguez dresses many stars and has had a respectable number of Oscar noms wear his shit on the red carpet. He probably gifted that dress to Michelle but I think it still interesting, because the dems bitched and moaned and made such a huge deal about the cost of Palin's wardrobe and then made sure that everyone knew that Michelle mixes inexpensive pieces with classic ones, raving about her effortless and affordable style. Michelle then turns around and selects one of the hottest designers around to kit her out in what was probably a $12,000 dress. Sure Barack won the nomination and she needed to look good but she should have followed her own example and her party's apparent preference for thriftiness (HA!) and shown a little more sartorial restraint. Everyone hates double standards.
Good for Michelle but Blake? Leighton Meester would make a better fit for Vogue than Blake.
