Charged! Former Soul Train Host Could Face 5 Years In Prison If Convicted

Soul Train host Don Cornelius has been charged with 3 counts of spousal battery, 1 count of dissuading a witness from making a police report, and 1 count of assault with a deadly weapon following a dramatic October arrest.
The victim was a 72-year-old married woman, although her identity and to whom she is married remains unknown.
The misdemeanor charges are the result of two separate incidents, and if convicted of all the charges, Don could himself on the chain gang train for up to 5 years.
Don't hit people! Duh.
Violence is never ever the answer.

That shit pisses me off!!! I had a BF when I was a teen that F'in brainwashed and beat me…I was almost killed 1 day. I was beat for 2 1/2 hours. Finally got out of my apartment and knocked at doors…NO ONE was answering…finally a guy, from Russia that spoke no English, saved me and cleaned up my blood and cared for me until my sis could get there. Actually, during the beating, he had me call her and tell her, while a knife was to my throat, why I deserved to be beat…he ripped the phone out of the wall half way through. She called the cops and said they COULDN'T help because she was calling from a different TOWN! Didn't call the PIGS myself…1st because I couldn't 2nd because at the time (a previous assult) a neighbor called, he ripped my clothes off while I trying to go out, thought my clothes were too provocitive (they weren't) and they said they would arrest me for domestic violence also if they ever came back (didn't lay a hand on him-he used to be a boxer)!!! State of Connecticut is f'ed up when it comes to that shit even if you are DEFENDING yourself! Hope he gets ass RAPED in jail. PUNK ASS!!!
