   yeah i live in santa barbara and this is the worst fire i have ever seen… it's never gotten this close to the actual town before… and people need to stop saying on the news and in print that celebrities homes are in danger because lots of real people lost their homes last night and no one seems to be focusing on that.. just because their famous doesn't mean their homes are more important than the rest of ours.

   Brooks is fine so far - It's on the other side of the canyon right now so they're in the clear. I guess they were saying that because of the strong wind we get from the ocean they're not too worried about some of the lower parts but then again….

   ya 100+ houses have been destroyed
   and nearly 2500 acres burned
   so many of my friends houses were on fire
   and almost everyone has had to evacuate
   its horrible.
