Video game sales were up 18% in October from the same month a year ago!

      i bought 4 games in the past month.. oct/nov tons of triple a games

      i got dead space,fallout 3, gears of war 2 and cod world at war.. might pick up fable 2 still

      just wait until stats come out for november. after yesterday and the new WoW expansion, its gonna go up to about 30%!

      i only play 360.. fallout 3 will take months. prolly wont get anything anytime soon. if i do its either fable 2 or prince of persia.. proly prince of persia. played left4dead demo ugh it hurt my eyes after gears and call of duty

      Board game sales are up too! People are finding cheaper ways to entertain their families. With the economy the way it is staying home and having family game nights are very in.
      Teens and young adults are leading the charge and are playing more games than ever! I'm glad that they are back, we don't need manufactured fun.

      Videogames are are the most original creative stories available. Movies and Television are blurring together and fading into remakes and reimagingings. Videogames can still be trusted.

      Yay.. WoTLK is out. Im a gamer and I have a life, a husband and a very nice job. Not every gamer lives in their parents' basement.

      In the last month I've bought Fallout 3, Resistance 2 and Little Big Planet. Once I'm done with those Gear 2 and Fable 2. Maybe Shawn White Snowboarding.

      I wouldn't say games are recession proff thogh. I've heard alot of layoffs are happening.

      You don't have to be unemployed to enjoy video games assholes. I work and play video games across multiple platforms, its fun and relatively inexpensive

      You can thank my oldest son in university for that; I think he alone must be keeping them in business! :)

      It's a cheap, relaxing way to entertain yourself in this shitty economy. Believe me, my hubby and I have TOO much of a life, and it's good to just hide away at home and unwind by killing imaginary things. Btw, 1ph y(_)0 (4/\/ 1234[) 7/-/i5, you know you are a super gamer.
