Things between Angelina Jolie and father Jon Voight seem to be deteriorating further.
Most recently, Ange is said to be "embarrassed" by her father's choice in presidential candidate. Voight was one of like 3 celebrities who backed John McCain, going so far as to call Sarah Palin a "beautiful choice."
A source said that "Angie remarked that considering the treatment he doled out to her mother, she wasn’t that surprised that he now supported a woman who, in her opinion, was taking women's rights back 100 years."

How she can adopt children yet support the wholesale loss of human life that abortion has become is beyond me. Most women who have abortions don't do it out of desperation- many are married- and they do it for convenience. If you have an abortion, you have to realize you have taken a human life. It may be legal, and it may be what you WANT, but you can't kid yourself. It's a HUMAN embryo, a life with a heartbeat. And when you end the pregnancy, you end its life. That's a fact. you can argue religion and legality all you want- but to say that a woman sets rights back because she sees abortion for what it is, and doesn't believe in abortion as birth control or birth selection, well, that is WRONG. Interesting that would also come from someone who backs gay rights- so everyone is equal BUT an unborn human. Hmmmmm.
