Brooke Shields Cries Us A River Of Denial

Somebody's lying to Brooke Shields!
Despite reports otherwise, the actress is saying that her show, Lipstick Jungle, has not been canceled.
On Sunday at Kidfest in NYC, Brooke claimed that "Our bosses are saying, 'You’re not canceled, don’t worry. We’re just trying to figure out how to make this make sense.'"
Someone will be going down in flames for this if the show really is scrapped!
Brooke also went on to say that fans had been sending in tubes of lipstick to NBC prez and CEO Jeff Zucker to show their support. That would be all of about…5 tubes - we hoped they picked some flattering colors for him!
Brooke the Ratings Scientist hypothesizes that "I mean, we're basically No. 1 if you look at DVR. And you look at all that. So the public is watching it."
She said she'd be "heartbroken" if the show got canceled, because the "family atmosphere" is such a "perk."
Lipstick family memeber Kim Raver said that she too would be bummed about a cancellation. She said, "I think on Monday there are emergency meetings as to what's going to go on."
By "what's going on" we think they might mean "hand out pink slips" signed with a lipstick kiss good-bye.

I like all of the actresses in this show. Having said that, the show is not very good, it is derivative of other shows (and not in a good way) that have been done better, and I really think these veterans of TV all deserved an original idea to work with. The show has basically been on a respirator since the writers strike. They need to allow it to die (too late) with dignity.
Brooke Shield is a dumb cunt. Let's hope with this cancelling we'll never have to see her on TV again.
I for one will be very disappointed if this show is cancelled.
They're definitely still casting for upcoming episodes…

You all are a bunch of fools! If you are going to write it, try to do so intelligently. This is a GREAT show. Of course, it would be a bit intimidating for most of you to watch a show based on beautiful, talented, bright and rich WOMEN who don't need a man to foot the bill. Maybe you all should learn from it.

This show is AWESOME! Problem is, no one stays up to watch… I ALWAYS DVR it.
um i am registered on a site that gets background work and auditions for actors and there was a call for background for the final episode of lipstick jungle…it even said FINAL EPISODE…so yeah i think its cancelled
She looks weird sometimes… a bit manish.
I hope LJ is not canceled…I love that show….I guess studio execs can't handle shows about strong women in control….do all the shows have to have tiny blond siliconed bimbolettes???
