Pop sweetheart Rihanna has accomplished a super impressive thing!
Her album, Good Girl Gone Bad, has produced EIGHT charted singles, according to Billboard.
All of which have done well!!!!
That's huge! Some people are lucky to get two 'hit' songs off an album!
The last person to do this was Shania Twain . Her album, Come On Over, produced eight hits from 1997-1999.
However, RiRi was able to crank out her eight in less time than Miz Twain.
It only took Jay-Z's prodigy one year and seven months.

I love Rihanna, she is a musical GODESS.
Shania didn't have to go back into the studio to add new songs to her album to drum up more sales or add to her list of hit singles. In addition she sold over 39 million copies of her come on over and she crossed over with this album to the Pop, AC and Country charts, staying in the billboard charts for 22 months. This by far surpasses Rihanna's efforts.

This cd has been out for a long time. Usually, an artist releases four singles from an album, and then produces another one after that. Rihanna basically re-released "Good Girl Gone Bad" and added a new songs. Obviously, she'll have more than four released singles.

Breaking Dishes, as someone noted, was considered a single–but for some reason, radio started picking up on Don't Stop the Music instead, dictating which single would be next. I absolutely love Breaking Dishes, but I wonder how well it would actually do, because it is very similar in sound and style to Maneater by Nelly Furtado, and that amazing single went almost ignored.
