Daddy Billy Ray Cyrus even commented on the two during the LA premier of of the Slutty one's new film, Bolt. He says, "I'll tell you what – they are great friends, and they make a good team. They write a lot of songs together, and they sing – it's incredible."
We just barfed a little.
And when asked what advice he has to give his daughter, the one time music star said plenty.
Billy Ray preached, "Make good choices. Do the best you can do – mostly have fun."
Definitely! And if having fun means hooking up with your 20 year-old boyfriend, then go for it, right?
Daddy Cyrus added, "I always tell her that as long as she's having fun, then it's working."
Good parenting skills. No need to worry about the consequences of your actions kiddies, just go have fun!
He then adds, "She loves what she's doing. She has a real passion for making music as an artist. She loves being an actress, and we all feel very fortunate being in the Disney family and getting to do both of our loves."
Wow, a Disney plug! Looks like the heads at Disney have had a few talks with the Cyrus family about trying to clean up her image.

OK- I have a daughter who will be 15 years old in a few months (YES, at 36 y/o I'm probably the oldest girl on this site!!) Anyhow, I would never make ANY statement to her that started with - "As long as you're having fun ……." That ISN"T what parents should say!!! Parents are around to PARENT, not be the BEST FRIEND of their child. I am my daughter's Mom first. Period. End of story. We have a "friendly" relationship most of the time, but she KNOWS that I am Mom first. Kids actually want those boundries and need and want those boundaries and guidance. I would call the police if a 20 year old was after her…much less if I found out they had a relationship. "Friends???" - yeah right! Why would a 20 year old WANT to hang out with a 15 year old?! Why aren't more people appalled by this 'relationship?' If these were normal folks, the 20 year old guy wouldn't be called a "friend", he'd be called a PREDATOR!!!

I am betting your sponsors would like your 9 million page clicks a day to come more from the former (who have disposable income and can drive a car and own homes) versus the latter who still have curfews, allowances and regularly use the phrase-"would you like coke with you happy meal?"
