Britney Spears' new 90 minute special documentary, titled Britney: For The Record, has the former pop queen talking candidly about her life and her feelings. And during the MTV special, she compares her life to being in jail.
Brit Brit says, "There’s no excitement, there’s no passion. I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail, y'know, there’s the time when you’re gonna get out. But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like Groundhog Day every day."
Awwwwwwww. That's so sad! Then, again, that's probably the whole point of the documentary, to make us feel sad for Brit.
Mission accomplished! And it hasn't even aired yet!
Spears also opens up about her life post the crazy meltdown, head-shaving incident.
Says Brit Brit, "I think it’s too in control. If I wasn’t under the restraints I’m under, I’d feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it’s like they hear but they’re really not listening. If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I’m having to pay for a long time."
Wow. She's being very candid. We like it!
Brit adds, "I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free. I think I've learnt my lesson now and enough is enough."

I never was a fan of Brit's! She always seemed like a spoiled brat to me, but I feel it is not my place to judge her. I have never lived her life, so I have no idea how she must feel. I do however know what it is like in my world. I have a full time job, and I am a full time student, a wife, and a parent, don't we all feel like a prisoner once in a while. I have a set schedule every day of my life too, only I don't have to answer to the entire world when I flip out. Money doesn't solve problems, she has plenty of it, but it can't make you happy.

This is no real surprise. Poor girl was living a life with no parental supervision, total freedom, surrounded by "yes" people. She became a mom before she was emotionally equipped to handle it, all the while suffering from a serious mental disease. Fast forward to a total mental breakdown played over and over by the media where she's totally misunderstood and made fun of. Now she's under real supervision and on meds that really mess with her mind. Even though she knows she needs the meds and supervision it's got to be hard to deal with after leading a life of total freedom. People need to understand what her life was like before her breakdown before they start judging her. I'm not a wild Britney fan but it doesn't take a shrink to figure out how drastically different her life is now and what an adjustment she's had to go through. Knowing that she has to stay on meds for the rest of her life just to be "normal" must be difficult to deal with too. Knowing that people are just waiting for her to screw up and that it will all be put out there by the media but be awful.Cut her some slack.

All her "quotes" were chopped up and presented in away to show Britney in away that would reflect negatively upon her, because ultimately thats what a lot of you want — you want her to fail, to make yourselves feel better.
Everyone wants to see her in one way … her fans want to see her be a pop princess … the haters … as a worthless person.
The truth is that she is human, and has many dimensions to her. I believe that all humans have good in them.
I am fascinated by her story and I'm going to actually watch her documentary to fully understand her before passing judgement.
