I would still be a huge fan and find her incredible because of one major reason, her phenomenal performance in the ??? movie "Monster".
Her "portrayal" of a mentally ill person (Aileen Wuornos) who had to find her way through a horribly rough upbringing and therefore a very effeing messed up way of life and was, by the grace of God I am sure, was still alive in her early forties. Aileen was one of those people who had "slipped through the cracks" when it came to getting help for all of the demons that were sadly her demise. It was a rough road that she chose, and very soon in her life it was a very familiar road to her.
Charlize Theron became Aileen. It's just amazing.
If you haven't seen it, see it.

yay Perez post more about gorgeous Charlize. You should like her because she's been so outspoken out rights for your people and she's been involved in charities for many years so she walks the walk. She's the most beautiful woman in hollywood IMO. And always dresses so classy. Far better than Angelina. Her performance in Monster is one of the best I've ever seen. Anyone who says anything negative about Charlize's looks is either jealous or stupid because this is one person who has a beauty that is undeniable. That's not even the most flattering picture and she still looks perfect. Stunning.

Best performance of the decade IMO and Roger Ebert called it one of the greatest performances in the history of cinema. I am entitled to my opinion.. And my opinion is that she has a butch look. It has nothing to do with monster. She is pretty - but I think she could benefit from a softer look - the cinched waist with those broad shoulders and thick arms make her look manly. I am not the only one who has commented here to that effect may I add!!

There's nothing wrong with broad shoulders. And this isn't a flattering picture of her.
