According to a new report, more than 500 of its midnight shows Thursday (technically Friday) across the nation are already sold out.
On Monday night, the Twilight crew hit the L.A. premiere of the movie.

Saw the special screening. IT SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS! Horrible acting and dialogue. It's worse than any show on the CW. And get off the tween thing Perez. You sound like a semi-pedophile.

I got my tix for the midnight show PLUS 2 other screenings…. Hell, I may just give them my visa card and sit in the theater all day and tell them to keep putting it on my tab… I plan to be "dazzled…frequently".
As to the "bad acting"…umm, so…. nobody cares.
We all know that it won't/can't do the book justice. We will appreciate the effort and use our imagination. The actors who play Edward & Jasper are so friggin hot—any acting talent seen on the big screen is only a bonus.

What is the big deal about this movie? It looks like another High School Musical with vampires. I'd rather see Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise get together for another part of the Vampire Chronicles. I've been waiting forever!!!!

Its not supposed to be. The actors are fairly new to the industry, they will only get better for the sequels. They are all hot and the basic story line is amazing. The movies are never better than the books, I am going into the movie knowing that.
ps- I bought my tickets in June from TwilightMoms.com. They rented out a theater here for 2 showings and sold the tickets this summer.

I'm so excited! I got tickets to an early screening for this evening and I'm also going to see it at the midnight screening Thursday night!! As for the acting, I think we all knew this movie wasn't going to be an Oscar winner. I'll be super happy just to see this awesome book onscreen.

I read yesterday that the movie is so bad, that not even the actors who are in it like it! I saw a 15 minute clip a little while ago and the dialogue was horrendous and the acting was ATROCIOUS! Kristen, Alice, Jasper…. none of them can act to save their lives. It's going to do well though just cause it has the name Twilight attached to it.
btw… that dress looks like she threw it together last minute on her sewing machine at home.
