If you guys knew anything about Brandon Flowers, you would know that he has CLEARLY STATED on several occasions that he believes that EVERYONE should have equal rights, and that includes gay marriage. Just because he is Mormon does not mean he is against gay marriage. He has even publicly voiced his support for Obama in a recent interview (I think it was GQ??).

Brandon has actually been quoted as saying he supports gay rights… I don't know where you got your quote from robbierob. And he is not a "hard-core" Mormon, if he were then he wouldn't smoke or drink alcohol/caffeine (which he still occasionally does). In fact, he wouldn't even be able to do his job because Mormon men aren't supposed to be away from the house/family for prolonged periods of time. He has said he is a practicing Mormon (ie. he prays, goes to church) but he doesn't have to support or follow all the rules or policies to practice. And yea, Perez, stop blaming the Mormons. The Mormon population is so small, they do not have that much influence.

He has said that he supports gay rights and has never said anything against them. Just because he is a practicing Mormon doesn't mean he agrees or follows everything that the church does.
