      Axl got the same review when he performed in Boston in 2002, a show that I ATTENDED, and enjoyed more than any other performance I've been to.

      People, don't believe this bullshit. I've heard the album, it rocks just as hard as anything else Axl has worked on, and next time you want to read a review on a rock album, try reading something from a source that actually understands music.

      Not all the reviews are bad. I'm not a fan of GNR, but let's be completely honest about the reviews.

      Perez, how about developing a little integrity and reporting the FACTS? Chinese Democracy is getting many, many, many GREAT reviews across the board and even from such respected sources such as Rolling Stone and Spin.

      That said, rock n' roll may not be your taste, because hey, it's no Mika lollipop or Jonas Brothers teenage baby music—and isn't supposed to be, never was, never will be. Disrespectful and inaccurate reporting of news and gossip will only tank you and this website.

      Also, telling people not to support Sundance doesn't help promote gay equality. It disrespects and hurts the artistic community and the struggling, dedicated filmmakers who have put their heart & soul into making something they've believed in for a very long time. So you see, you are hurting creative artists and villifying gays by making them responsible. Mormons may live in the state of Utah, but they barely make up the population of Park City… sheesh. A film festival doesn't benefit them and it's a ridiculous notion to think so. Perez, Please thoroughly think through calls for civic action as well as making political commentary before brazenly and foolishly making such posts. You can avoid portraying yourself as a buffoon.

      Stick to facts and be thoughtful and responsible to prolong any respect.

      Why haven't you mentioned that both Rolling Stone and Billboard, two of the most influential and important music magazines of all time, have both given Chinese Democracy rave reviews? Rolling Stone gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Seriously though. Why would you fail to mention those reviews?
      I wouldn't call this album a "B-O-M-B" when it's the #1 rock single on iTunes in the US, and its the #1 single on iTunes in numerous countries worldwide. If I were you Perez, I would check my definition of "bomb."

      Rolling Stone gave the album 4 out of 5 stars, and Billboard also gave the album a rave review. Guess I didn't realize that the New York Times was more credible when it comes to music than the two most influential and important music magazines of our time. Whoops.
