Jackson Flying To London After All
Looks like Wacko's going to be taking a little trip to London after all.
Michael Jackson's lawyer, Robert Englehart, is now saying that the Prince of Pop has been given the thumbs up from medical advisers and will be appearing in the High Court to testify.
Sheik Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain is suing Michael for $7 million for a contract the singer reneged on.
A (very wealthy) "devoted fan of Western pop music," the sheik - who is described as "soft spoken" - made contact with Jackson while the singer battled child molestation accusations. After Jackson was acquitted, Al Khalifa invited him to Bahrain and subsidized an extravagant lifestyle, which included a $300,000 "brain guru." The singer then entered into a contract with Al Khalifa's 2 Seas Records for an autobiography, an album, and a musical. But the label never launched.
Jackson's lawyer is saying that since the label flatlined, the contract is void.
Convenient excuse!
He's also saying that the money was a gift, and that Al Khalifa took advantage of Jackson's "vulnerability and lack of business acumen."

Al Khalifa is saying that despite his generosity, the money was not a gift and that he felt "betrayed" by the singer when he left Bahrain in 2006, pulling out of the contract.
The case is scheduled to come to a decision at the end of next month.
P.S. $7 million is NOT a gift!

This is a typical case of a lovers breakup. The shiek lavished Michael with money, a place to hide-out, expensive gifts, and millions in contract promises; and after Michael accepted everything in exchange for "doing everything" to/for the shiek, Michael left the relationship saying he was done. So now the shiek is heartbroken, hurt, devastated, etc. and wants all his money back!!!! Typical scorned lover!!!!!!!
