Tragedies Inspire Blink 182 Guys to Reconnect

Tragic events have a way of healing old wounds.
Blink 182's Mark Hoppus has revealed that the recent death of Blink producer Jerry Finn and Travis Barker's miraculous survival of a plane crash has brought the trio back together. Sorta.
They're at least talking (with Tom DeLonge) for the first time in years!
The band's break up in 2005 was quite messy and Mark and Trav haven't really spoken to DeLonge since.
Hoppus said on his blog, "We're just reconnecting as friends after four years of not talking. It's a good thing. Obviously the first question for a lot of people will be, 'Does this mean a Blink-182 reunion?' The answer is none of us know. We haven't talked about it at all. Right now it's just good for the three of us to see one another, reconnect and let the past be the past."

Blink sucks….it's like girlie-watered down pop-punk for kids that still live at home. Who gives a rat's ass if they reunite? They had their moment in time and they should just leave it that way. Not to mention, WTF is the big deal about Travis Barker? I just don't get it. He's a decent drummer, but so are most people that have played drums their whole life. I've met him on 2 occasions and he's the one of biggest douchebag musicians that I have ever met.
urgh blink182 are has-beens and Travis Barker is really starting to piss me off right now, because perez keeps fucking mentioning him.
Who cares? They sucked then (and never were considered "big") and they still suck. And Travis Barker….what an asshole. Seriously people, he's one of the most vapid "celebrities" out there (and I used the term loosely for him since he is only a drummer).

Blink was one of my favorite bands growing up. The first song I heard from them I knew I was going to like them a lot. I really miss blink 182. I was thinking about a year ago that angels and airwaves, plus 44 and blink 182 should come together and do a massive concert. OMG!!! That would be the shit!!! Just think of it guys, angles opens up, then plus 44 or other way around and then finish with slamming blink show.. It would be a very big production!!! Consider it you guys!!!!!!!!!! Please.. go Trav, Tom, and Mark.. YOU GUYS ARE EXCELLENT PERFORMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love all these people saying they sucked when they sold millions of albums, and EVERYONE knows who they are by name. Everyone I know here in So Cal loves them, guys and girls.

This is great news to all the Blink 182 fan community!!! I was so happy when I heard the news, It would be awesome if they get back together. The only down side about it is that they might/ will get even bigger than they were towards the end. Catching a show now would be a lot more expensive and it would sell out faster.
