When you're a stage actor, the last thing you want is to get sick!
Unfortunately for him, Josh Hartnett is dealing with this problem.
Currently starring in a play, Rain Man, in London, Hartnett has already missed four performances this week. Josh is said to be suffering from a reported case of food poisoning.
It takes this long to get over "food poisoning">>>
A production rep confirmed that Hartnett is sick and was taken in for an checkup at University Hospital on November 18th.
Hartnett is expected back in the show on November 21st.
Luckily for his "fans", those that don't want to see his understudy perform have been offered the chance to exchange their tickets for a later date.
The show will continue to run until December 20th.

Actually it can take a while sometimes to get back to eating normal foods and feeling better if you have food poisoning and if you have it really bad you can vomit blood so ic an't imagine you get over that..fast

Depending on what you ate, food poisoning can get you admitted to a hospital, and can be very serious, leaving your body to recover for a good while.
I had tickets to the show last night (Thursday) and was so mad when I saw the sign saying he was "indisposed". I'm not really a huge Josh Hartnett fan, but I thought it would be cool to see him in a play. But they did let me exchange and I'm going on Tuesday now, I sure hope he's better by then!
People that get e-Coli can easily be in the hospital for up to a month, and then much more recovery time at home. Actual food poisoning (like e-Coli, ptomaine, salmonella, etc.) are truly life-threatening.
He really should have treated all his numerous Venereal diseases before they got out of control. I can't imagine the sight/feel of his thing or discoloration.

EEK! Not fun. I've had it twice, salmonella both times, and it is pure hell. Depending upon the type, it can sometimes take months to fully recover. Feel better soon.
