Our founding fathers were quite intelligent and indeed sound logic will prevail in our society that grants equality to all people. For those who do not understand California, it is already decided that sexual orientation is already a protected class. You cannot discriminate against here, not even in a ballot measure. the intelligent Mormons wasted millions of dollars here, wait and see. Proposition 8 forces the government to discriminate against citizens based on their sexual orientation and that's what is wrong with it. The real problem is that lawmakers allow such atrocities to be ballot measures to begin with. gay people pay taxes too and have no representation. Taxation without representation is a major sin in our country.
