We just told you this week how Will Smith took time out of his schedule while promoting his latest flick, Seven Pounds, to visit with patients at Miami Children's Hospital.
Well, we just found out from one of our Perezcious readers that there's even more good news.
Turns out Smith took time out yesterday to visit Case Elementary, an inner city public school in Cleveland, Ohio.
He spent time visiting with the school officials and hanging out with the kids.
Will's got such a huge heart, and he knows how to manipulate the media almost as well as Angelina Jolie!

I am sure that Will has a big heart but it is part of the promotional tour for the movie. Your captions are so stupid sometimes. He is not taking time out! Time out would be with out cameras and when there is no movie to promote. Dont be such a retard.

Yeah, I was at the premiere yesterday here in Denver and I missed him … I got there like 10 min. after he left, but people told me that he came into the theater and talked to the a little and then I met a teacher and she told me that he surprised the students and the staff at their school too and gave them all free tickets for the movie. He's like an angel and I'm still pissed that I missed him… aaargh
I think its great that he did that, even if it is to promote his movie. I am from Cleveland and Will also donated 200 turkeys to our local food bank.

Seriously though. Since the early days of Hollyweird images have been "invented" for the stars. Their "history" created to make them seem more interesting and marketable for their employers. Why wouldn't it be the same now?
The fans believe what they want to believe and in this we find conflicting stories in the mags and blogs to stimulate this industry and its profits. We click on Perez, the industry is stimulated and Mario makes the money.
He supports who pays him. It would be bad business practice if he didn't.

I love Will Smith, I think he's awesome! Even if he was doing it for the publicity (which I really don't think he is), he gave those kids a memorable experience!
