Colorado's Fort Lupton Municipal Judge Paul Sacco fights fire with…..fire.
When kids violate local noise ordinances, they're forced to sit in a room and listen to Barry Manilow.
Torture indeed!
Sacco began the program when he noticed that these kids would just show up to pay the fines in court, and would then go and repeat their offenses.
It's sort of like a cruel and unusual detention session.
May we recommend Manilow's truly atrocious cover of Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up?
Just one listen would be punishment enough!

Why does everyone pick on Manilow? He's been recording for more than 30 years and still manages to sell-out the house in Las Vegas after all these years. I wouldn't find playing his music torturous at all.

that is a great idea!!!!! i turn up country music in my car and compete when they are near me to loud, it is very funny cause they get it. they don't want to hear that crap blaring loud like that anymore than others want to hear theirs. i hope it works:)
