Just saw your story about our giveaway of free Dr Pepper. We've been working all yesterday and today to live up to our promise. But ya gotta know that with a big line at your door there's gonna be a bit of a wait.       I just called them and sent all my information, and the automated voice stated that I would get my coupon in the mail in 4-6 weeks. Woo hoo, I get soda in 2 1/2 months…i'm sure i'll be thirtsyyy byy thenn!

      They have to make it difficult, that's too much money being given away for free. So of course they are going to say they are doing the best they can, when really they probably have a set amount that they are going to give out.

      HOPEFULLY i will be able to use my coupon to buy myself a d.p. for my birthday on the 27th. Not totally confident in the automated recording thing. Hopefully it werks better than their servers do.

      I get the feeling that those of you so pissed off that you can't get something you weren't paying anything for anyway don't really drink Dr.Pepper to begin with.       I am a little pissed. You had it right Perez when you said that they should have had their site ready for something like this. One, I don't have a computer, I had use a friends, and two, the phone line was always busy!!! I'm a mother of two and I finally just had to say screw it!

      I was not able to submit my request on the website earlier today and now they have changed the site and there is no mention of the coupon at all and it's 5:57pm EST

      ya know they could have made is simple, people put coupons online all the time. Why didn't they just have a link to click to print off a coupon yourself.

      i emailed them after i couldn't get through the evening of the 24th. I just received a response today and they said they are sorry for the inconvenience and will be sending me a free dr. pepper. they call it "20 in 24". They said…

      "Be sure to visit drpepper.com often, beginning January 1 we’ll be giving away coupons for a free Diet Dr Pepper!"

      THEY ARENT SO BAD!
