A Very Harajuku Thanksgiving

Gwen Stefani may not be at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, but her Harajuku Girls will be there!
They're even going to have their own "Tokyo Lights" float.
And her float looks great!!
Thankfully, some lucky fan got to see it beforehand and snapped some pictures of the float.
Turns out the float was created and hand-painted by the Macy's team, though Gwen and her people gave the final approval.
It also features platforms for the dancers to perform during the parade.
Oh, and if you're lucky enough to be at the parade, they're going to be street dancers handing out samples and goodies.

Er - the katakana over the float says "Meryy Christmas". I am Briish, so don't know, but didn't think Thanksgiving had anything to do with Xmas??

As much as I love japan and harajuku and have been there many times, I feel like Gwen is sort of overly obsessed with harajuku without really knowing what it is.
