Music hit maker David Foster has just released a memoir called, Hitman.
He's worked with everyone from Madonna to Frank Sinatra so you know it' could be a good read!
One of Foster's quips about former-Beatle Paul McCartney made its way into one the NY papers today, Tuesday.
He said collaborating with Macca was "a little like being on a bad date. Ten bad dates, maybe." Also, the Beatle was one of those artists who "needed to be reminded of his greatness."
Ouch!!

Who else but somebody totally insecure would marry somebody like Heather mills. I mean she was obviously a gold digger, but Paul wanted to believe that she was interested in his old self and not his money.
Foster's the shit. My uncle used to know him and play in a band with him when they were really young and then years later when my uncle had leukemia Foster flew in from LA To come and visit him before he passed away. He's straight forward about this kind of stuff, sorry Paul but it's no big surprise you can be a bit of a Diva and we love you more for it.

If I recall weren't the songwriting credits on the Beatles songs changed to McCartney/Lennon to appease someone's ego a few years back? John Lennon was far greater than Paul could ever believe himself to be.

David Foster is an amazing pianist and song writer…he has has dozens of Academy Awards for 'Best Song'. He was married to Linda Thompson for years…and here is how all of this links up to "The Hills". Linda Thompson was married to Bruce Jenner (who is now Botoxed to hell - but he was an Olympic Gold Medalist in the 1976 Summer Olympics ( who is now married to Kris Kardashian) the mother of Kim, Kourtney and Khloe - and Linda Thompson's kids are the Kardashian sisters' Step Brothers,…Brandon and Brody Jenner! You know, the arrogant Brody that is always with Lauren and friends at the bars and invited to trips to Mexico, etc….and the one that's always talking shit about Spencer's sister, Stephanie Pratt! ( not that she doesn't deserve it ..hehe )

I can totally see that. I've heard other similar things about him…that he's very high maintenance and needs his ass kissed constantly. I don't think he's a bad guy…I just think that since he was a very young age, he's had Yes-men around him day and night catering to him, and he just doesn't know any different.

Paul McCartney rocks! At the MTV Europe Awards he thanked US for voting for Obama and he posed for pics with my fave music chick, PINK! To think Paul has posed with everyone from John Lennon to Pink!!! It's awesome!!

Now I understand why Ringo bowed out early on into the "post-Beetle" famewhore lifestyle that a bloated ego demands. Bet it irked Paul to see John still in the news (re: Catholic pardon). Can't wait to read it. Stupid icons.

if you read the book like I did (which is rad IF you're into real music, and true r&b and its roots, and real talent) you'd see that foster only says that about paul because they didn't click musically and their collaboration didn't have good results. he gives the beatles a ton of credit and makes at least 10 comments on how much he loves the beatles and how meeting and working with paul was a huge honor to him. he's definitley not hating. foster has millions and millions and millions of dollars. there's no need for him to lie.
I once read someone say that there was only one person who could really pull Paul together, in the collaboration department, and that was John Lennon. I know he has worked with many, but he has always mentioned that only Elvis Costello even approached what John and him had- and that was not even it. I think those two men had a special musical bond, and as much as I think Paul rocks, I think Lennon rocked more and was just so much cooler than anyone…so he kind of kicked Paul into gear and, well, look at what they made together. Nothing either did solo was quite as brilliant- though I think John had IT way more than Paul when he was on.
