Mormon Aid to Prop H8te Under Investigation

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, or so they say.
According to a new report by the AP, California officials will investigate whether the Mormon church accurately described its role in a campaign to ban gay marriage in the Golden State.
On Monday, the California Fair Political Practices Commission said that a complaint by a group called Californians Against Hate merits further inquiry.
The filing accuses the Mormons of failing to report the value of work it did to support Proposition 8.
Reps for the church weren't available for comment.

Most people don't want to change that. The fairest way to do it is by letting the people vote. And California spoke. Just as the entire nation would speak in a national referendum. Civil unions are a different issue and one that would probably pass nationally.
