Congratulations!
Vladimir Luxuria, the first transgender person elected to the Italian parliament, won the Italian reality show, Celebrity Island on Monday.
Love the name!
Luxuria served in parliament for two years as a member of the Refoundation Communist Party before losing his bid for re-election in April.
The reality competition show took place on the beaches of Honduras over the course of six weeks and in the end viewers picked VladLux as their favourite.
The show's producer said, "I admired his capacity to defy the prejudices of his companions."
As the winner, she walked away with $128,000.
Luxuria said half of her winnings will be donated to UNICEF.

The comments on this post is just pure comedy. I feel bad for people born without compassion or the ability to think/analyse beyond social/cultural stereotypes. Comments about names being "feminime" and about her looks not measuring up to some standard………it's all constructions, there isn't a global standard of beauty and names hav switched gender during history.
I know that people who feel restricted in the world of liberation we're currently living in use the internet as a way to get it off their chests, but get with the times instead…..your views are constructions, not some divine law created to exclude people from the miracle that life really is.
