i never cry at anything and this made me burst into tears.. makes me want to go out and do something. the world needs more people like brenden for sure.
I didn't personally meet Brenden, but I did help the local food drive he organized and everyone was there to grant his wish of helping people. He was an amazing boy!

Fact: If you *really* want to do something for the homeless, give to a support agency. NEVER give a homeless person cash or change directly - give it to the United Way or a local shelter - they can do the most good with it. Besides, deep down inside we all fear that hand-out is going to be misused buying drugs or alcohol, why not make sure it's actually used to good ends? Cool story, leukemia is the most hateful disease.
