Britney Makes Her Performance "Comeback"

Britney Spears took to the stage at the Bambi Awards in Germany on Thursday night and…
She didn't suck!
She wasn't great, but she wasn't embarrassing.
And, considering the fact that we think she was pushed into releasing this album too quickly, she was amazing! Just remember where she was only 9 months ago.
The re-arrangement of Womanizer was hot, but we definitely feel like the Britster was nervous.
She was VERY stiff towards the beginning but definitely loosened up for the last 30-45 seconds.
We don't mind the lipsynching - it's Britney! - but we think there wasn't enough dancing. She walked around a lot, which reminded us too much of that disastrous VMA performance in 2007.
But, overall, it's nothing to be ashamed off and hopefully she'll get better as she does a few more of these!

I am sorry but if you lip sing on stage, you arent a real singer.. Beyonce dances and sings.. And I can accept it for a few songs but Britney is a whole performance type of girl… I am over her and it is so lame that people are buys her computer altered CDs and paying to see someone lip sing on stage.. This is why I stick to bands like Mayday Parade, The Maine, Chiodos, etc. They are the REAL thing. Even those Jonas Brothers do it right!
I think she did very well. You could tell she was very nervous.
she did sing live@ the end she does a run when the music ends and u can hear her breathing as she smiles…the beginning her voice was a bit off on the intro proving she was singing live through the majority. overall she was nervous but the performance was killer!!!
BritBrit made me proud!!! Hope she kills it on Star Academy, X Factor, and GMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she was singing to a backing track. kind of like the ashlee simpson incident. i could definitely distinguish her live voice against the recorded vocals. a flat note here and there and a little bit of breathing coming through the speakers. i like that, though. makes her a little more real than what we're used to.
i wish the camera work focused on the performance more than moving around a whole bunch. i didn't really get to see HER much as a result, but it seemed nice. not the performance i'd expect for such a busy song, but she needs to be in her comfort zone her first time out.
i bet she's saving her good stuff for us

Anyway i thought it was a good performance, for that song. Im sure she will feel more comfortable with Circus. And she sung at least part of it, which is more than what old britney would do.
OMFGGGG!! Britney KILLED it! The stage, the props, the moves, everything was EPIC!!!! Compare this to the VMAs 2007, I am SOOO proud of Britney for improving so much. Old school Britney is definitely back.
Now I know some of you thought she lacked energy blah blah blah blah, but if u didn't like this performance Britney is still performing tomorrow and on Saturday!! So get a grip!

Yeah, she wasn't actually strictly lip-synching. She lip-synchs all the time so I can tell when she's doing it… this wasn't it. You could tell there was a track helping her almost the entire time but for the most part she was singing live in some parts and singing along with the track in others.
I'm glad she's getting the kinks out of the way in Europe before she hits the states.

It'll take time for her to get back to where she used to be. It's like…being in shape, then binge eating and being a lazy ass for two years; you're obviously not going to be able to run a mile when you're last (failed) attempt was a year before.
And I think she should sing live a little more. I like the way this song sounded when she was actually singing. I mean…it's common knowledge that she's no Beyonce or Christina, but her voice is decent enough to sing at least off and on.

It just means her mic was on… She never sings live, and her music is voice altered so she wouldnt be able to sing live. The songs wouldnt sound the same, IF she was singing, it was along with the track to back it up to get the correct sound. Which still counts as not completely live.. Its like when a band played live to track.. Its not live anymore, its a cope out in my eyes, just like lip syncing…

Omg her smile at the end was gorgeous! She looked happy, I don't care that it wasn't THE BEST performance, it was still great and it's the confidence boost she needs! As a person I'm happy for her and wish her the best! She's been through a lot.

And yes enhanced, but on the CD, not live. her Lip syncing may be old news, but it should never be over looked. And it's not that I don't like pop music, I just think its all been done before. Yes its great she got her life back on track, but if it weren't for her train wreck of a life for the last two years, I have no doubt her career would have ended. Sorry just my opinion though. Those complaining about her dancing, she only has a very limited amount of dance moves. She's never going to do anything different than those few moves. That is, I guess, her signature. At least it looked better than the VMA performance though.
