Our thoughts and prayers go out to the terror victims in Mumbai, India.
India's financial center and the home to Bollywood was violently attacked by extremist terrorists on Wednesday.
The current count is approximately one hundred killed and more than two hundred injured.
Chaos continues to engulf parts of the city.
Experts say that this was one of the most well coordinated attacks on civilian targets in the region.
There's also a suspicion that Al Qaeda provided assistance to the Indian terrorists.
So, so, sad.
Keep the Mumbai victims in your thoughts and prayers too.

My thoughts and best wishes are there just as they were there the last time Mumbai was hit by terror attacks. This is not the first time people….200 people were killed 2 years ago…perhaps you did not hear about it because for the most part only Indians were killed…this time whities were targeted as well. Come on Perez, the al Qaeda suspicion was hearsay and not at all verified. The Deccan Mujahideen claimed responsibility, and they are not an international "terrorist extremist" organization, but a group addressing local tension between india and pakistan. To call every attack by any Muslim "extremist terrorism" gives a distorted view of the actual situation. Especially considering the NUMBER of attacks in India by different groups over the last year.

Just two years ago I was in the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai. That could have been me. It is scary and so so sad. My heart goes out to them.
Thank you Perez for posting this. It is a reminder of how grateful we should be to live in a democracy compared to a place of religious intolerance and hate. We should just be so thankful to have a government strong enough to have withstood the test of time against further attacks on our soil! Truly sad - there is so much history in the Taj Mahal and now it is ridden with damage. It used to be a peaceful location and now the horrible attacks and the resulting pain and suffering and deaths will over shadow what once was. I pray for the hostages and for the families that have injured or lost loved ones - truly sad.

These Muslim extremists are getting their instructions from the Koran (or Qur’an): "Seek out your enemies relentlessly," "Slay them wherever you find them, ""Make war against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be merciless against them," "When you meet the unbelievers in jihad, chop off their heads." Etc. While most Muslims do not take these teachings literally, there are obviously many who do.

Yeah its tragic. I'm from Mumbai and am numb with shock even after 48 hours and the military op is still raging on. At times like these, its more important to come together as a nation and stand united against this heinous act rather than point fingers. A lot of Muslims have also lost their lives in these terrible attacks and its sad that after every such attack, in spite of personal grief, they have to go on the defensive and prove their loyalty to this country…all due to the actions of a few 'demonic' people who carry out such cowardly attacks in the name of Islam.

What’s really sad is that the American Gov. has not done or said anything about how they plan to help the people of India. As we all should know by now there’s only one way to really stop all of this, and that is gathering all our countries together and going house to house, cave to cave within the Middle East and removing all threats to our world.
