Britney Spears performed Womanizer again on Friday night (above), this time on France's Star Academy - their version of American Idol or X Factor.
And….
She was A LOT better than the night before.
It was the same routine, but BritBrit looked a bit more relaxed, moved more and was generally more into it.
She's still got a ways to go, but she's improving every step of the way. Yay!

i don't understand how this qualifies as a performance. is this sort of shit something we just blindly accept now?
i would get the exact same enjoyment out of this if she just showed up and stood motionless in front of an audience for 4 mins. possibly more enjoyment as i would not have my ears assaulted with her pitch corrected, pro tooled to death, robotic attempt at ”singing.” all this just to move her mouth somewhat along with the pre recorded track, and then have the audacity to wear a mic as nothing more than a set piece. does nobody wonder why when she's speaking and laughing after her ”performance” we hear nothing despite the fact that she has a goddamn microphone 3 inches away from her useless full of shit lips?
i find it hard to believe that with all the great music available to people all over the world now, somewhat of which is good pop made by people with actual talent and stage presence, that we are content to just play along by accepting this as entertainment.

I think it helps that the crowd was different. If you notice, the one she did in /germany, everyone was seated and quiet…. but in this one, everyone was screaming and dancing… I'm sure the crowd makes a difference!

I wish Britney's next album will be Britney unplugged with her and her piano. Britney's form of entertainment is different and Jessica and Mandy Moore prove that only Britney is good at doing what she does. Her movements aren't as sharp as they were in her pre-crazy life. I think her team should make her watch old videos of her performances to see how she used to do it.
I never expected Britney to come back with this "AMAZING" performance since 'Gimme More.' Although this performance wasn't great, it was ok. Like Perez said, she's getting better and better with each performance and many people support her.
She was singing to a backtrack of 'Womanizer.' Although it wasn't her best, I enjoyed the performance, and I'm look forward to seeing Britney perform once she's got her confidence back.

okay, i agree, she was better then the previous nite BUT, her stylist needs to be fired, that dress, totally could of been a problem if she moved a little more, which she should have, i can run in heels and i'm a guy, she doesn't seem to be confident enough in them, i don't blame her, bitches heel did break that one time, so i'm sure her confidents is still building. Well I'm torn with Britney Spears. I think her songs are awesome and I always tend to migrate to the TV when she's on. I know she isn't an amazing singing talent and that she is a product of studio recordings, but for some reason I still love her music and will always support her by buying her records. I guess I've just come to accept Britney for what she is. A product of the studio, the media and entertainment. Her songs are perfect pop songs and I really don't care if they are altered in the studio and that she doesn't sing them live. When I'm watching or listening to Britney I know what I'm getting. The same as if I were listening to an accomplished singer songwriter like Beth Hart I know what I'm getting. Simple as that.

well, i have to say, if you are serious about critiquing media personalities you have to be on it, and to say she did well is offensive to her. she can do way better than this. she used to nail it and this was nothing. when she's on form, she can rock it like no one else. the choreography also quite sucked, and did not show off what she's capable of. i watched it live, here in france, and many people also thought her performance was not so good. great that people are supportive, but also give critique where it's needed. she needs to get back her fire and then anything is possible! some local blogs about her performance last night:
