So let me get this straight perez, christina's AMA performance was craptastic even though she sang live and her dancing actually looked fantastic compared to the disaster that was britney in Germany. Yet you said britney wasn't that bad in germany even though she lipsynched and looked so stiff it was like she had a broom handle shoved up her butt. She barely danced and wore the almost identicle outfit to madonna. Just how do you come up with your opinions. Although at least you got this performance right.

This girl can definetly sing. I think she does a much better job just standing there and belting out her songs rather than singing and dancing at the same time which ends up looking more like britney. We all know britney lip syncs otherwise she wouldn't be able to do those dance moves. But Christina CAN sing and when thats all she does her performances are always more enjoyable

I don't understand how someone could say anything bad about her singing. Sure, she "overdoes" it, but it sounds so good when she does! I am proud of her and her decision to stay in the music business but polish her image while doing so. She is so much more talented than Britney Spears, yet doesn't get the credit that she deserves. She has been around longer than Lady Gaga–therefore she has seniority in the music business. Lady Gaga is a one hit wonder, MAYBE two. How many hits has Christina Aguilera came out with? Lets see…"Genie in a Bottle", "What a Girl Wants", "Dirrty", "Beautiful", and I know I am missing a whole bunch.
She sounded amazing, and I think she is a wonderful vocalist that can only be compared to the likes of Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin.

i had forgotten how beautifully she could sing.
yeeahhhh it was fab, but people should know that that was miming to a live recording that would have been taped before the show and run through pro-tools to fix anything dodgy. That's not a diss at all to CA, cause almost all pop acts do it, hell even some rock bands do it occasionally to make sure you have a 'gaff free' performance. P.s. this is a fact so plleeaase people don't get all "rah rah you don't know, you just hate her" I really don't, i think she's awesome, just don't go thinkin it's 100% live.

HOWEVER - unlike YOUR heroes (were they invited to sing BTW?) madge and britster the only thing worth commenting on with them is what they are wearing, who they are screwing (or not screwing) how fat or skinny they are, ad nausea. with xtina, because she CAN sing there is so much "less" to talk about.
