Who Killed Batman?

If you don't want to know who kills Bruce Wayne in the most recent issue of the Batman comic book stop reading now!!
We mentioned that Bruce Wayne was going to meet his end as Batman in the new issue of the comic book.
He did not 'retire' as some speculated he would.
Bruce was killed by a man named Simon Hurt who posed as his thought-to-be deceased daddy.
Hurt is actually the leader of the 'shady' Black Glove organisation.
Simon claims to Bruce/Batman that he's Dr. Thomas Wayne. He told the caped crusader that he faked his own death when Bruce was a child.
Batman apparently dies when he tries to stop the faux dad from escaping by helicopter.
Story writer Grant Morrison said, “This is so much better than death. People have killed characters in the past but to me, that kind of ends the story! I like to keep the story twisting and turning. So what I am doing is a fate worse than death. Things that no one would expect to happen to these guys at all. This is the end of Bruce Wayne as Batman."
But, Batman will carry on.
One of the guys who acted as boy wonder, Robin, will probably take over.
Guess we'll all just have to wait and see!

I think it makes sense to kill Bruce Wayne off at some point. He was only human. And how many other superheroes groom their proteges or whatever? I think Robin will probably end up inheriting Wayne Enterprises and the bat cave and all that, becoming the new Batman.

The entire current DC Universe (all the superhero comic books by DC that share the same universe/timeline/reality/world) will probably be rebooted next year. So even if Bruce Wayne really is dead, a new Batman storyline continuity will probably be started next year and the story of Bruce Wayne will begin again — "Batman begins," so to speak.

Hey Dazzler. Did you actually compare GRANT MORRISON to a writer on Heroes? The Grant Morrison, 'Animal Man' Grant Morrison. This is the dude who wrote Doom Patrol, We3, The Invisibles. And Arkham Asylum, one of the graphic novels which influenced The Dark Knight and one of the books Heath Ledger had with him. All critically acclaimed and influential works. Please don't talk.

CW was planning on replacing Smalville (Thks God, they are stopping it!) by a series about Robin, I was looking forward to it.. But Batman (the movie) producers said no at last (too afraid of letting their golden eggs) so they cancelled…Robin has always been my favorite..
But Robin as Batman? No, no and NO! Robin is Robin^^
They should do like before, take a nephew, or a cousin and turn him into the new batman, inheritance stuff..

All I know is that I wanted to kill Batman myself and torture the bats off of him. I wanted to burn his mask on his face so his identity can never be revealed and then hang him upside down in the street for the people to view as they walked past.
