Broadway Discounts Tix to Minimize Recession Blow

Filed under: Broadway Babies > Business Blitz

Broadway is taking some necessary action to remain afloat in this shiteous economy.

Show producers are offering a lot more discounts because they know y'all don't have the big entertainment budgets that you used to.

Here's some of the discount programs you or your friends/family can take advantage of on the Great White Way:

- Tell Granny or Gramps! Starting Tuesday, Pulitzer and Tony-winning play August: Osage County will offer rush tickets to senior citizens for weekday performances.

- In early 2009, the Broadway League’s annual Season of Savings program, which offers deals on tickets to a variety of Broadway and Off Broadway shows, will return! No details are yet available, but experts speculate that more shows than usual will find themselves participating in the initiative. And, the league’s recurring Kids Night on Broadway (buy a full priced adult ticket, get a kid's ticket free) was recently upped from once a year to monthly.

- Disney shows on Broadway are going the discount route as well. You know times are shit when the monet loving Mouse is offering a deal! Anyway, for Broadway performances of The Lion King, The Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins scheduled the weeks between January 6th and March 13th, if you buy one full-priced adult ticket you'll get a kid's ticket for free. Orders will be taken starting today, Monday, and ending Dec. 12 at midnight. Note, a free kid’s ticket will be offered only with the purchase of a full-priced ticket for the orchestra or front mezzanine.

Cold sores are a symptom of the herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV1), which is very contagious and transmitted by contact. They are small, painful, fluid-filled blisters that form on red, raised patches of skin. The blisters usually appear on the lips or the skin around the mouth. They can break and ooze, forming a yellow crust that scabs over. The scab eventually falls off, revealing pinkish skin, and it heals without a scar. This process seven to 10 days and may or may not recur.

Egotastic.com has Katy Perry nip slips.
    .
Since Perez refuse to mention or show them here, I'll mention one place they can find them.

Concerned that you could have a sexually transmitted disease (STD)? If you have symptoms such as abnormal discharge, a burning sensation while urinating and/or sores on or around your genitals, you should see your doctor ASAP.
Look for these 8 signs of an STD

Re: mama of 2 – Nope. Just showing further proof that Perez will only look out for people he like. If Katy came out right now saying she hates that fat-ugly-disgusting-pig Perez, he would mention them in a heartbeat.

Where's the fun in this crap? You have to either be OLD or a toddler to enjoy the money off? What a rip off. When I go to NYC, I go there to get AWAY from the old and young

No one has the budgets they used to because the budgets weren't real DOOOHHH.

Hasn't everyone figured that out by now?

People have been spending beyond their means since credit was invented. It's part of the cycle and the government trying to help is just fucking everything up! It has to naturally take its course.

Free enterprise doesn't work whenever you know that if you do something wrong that you will just be fixed by the goverment! Not good!

Simple, don't pay full price for Broadway shows (if you don't mind buying them just a few days before the show). Some ticket brokers will discount their tickets and take a loss rather than be stuck with unsold tickets. For example, Google for Prominent Ticket Service Broadway. They show a special section for recently discounted tix.
