   One ciggie doesn't make her a "closet smoker." I used to smoke, but I quit and now, on very rare occasions, I have what I call a "stress smoke." Having something in my hand helps to calm me a little. Perhaps that was all it was.

I agree it's horrible for the child–I had a childhood speech impediment because I had trouble breathing when I was born, any wonder why?–but the sad fact is that, like any other kind of adddiction, some people will not quit it NO matter what.
