Madonna's AIDS/Malawi Documentary on TV Tonight

If you weren't able to catch her Madgesty's AIDS/Malawi documentary, I Am Because We Are, in the theaters, then you can see it today, Monday, which also happens to be World AIDS Day.
The doc will be airing this evening on the Sundance Channel.
Malawi is an impoverished African nation where one million children are orphaned by AIDS.
As y'all know, Madonna's 'awakening' to Malawi led her to adopt little David Banda and open a school in the country.
She told a reporter in a new interview that she had many goals for the documentary, "I did get to a point where I thought, 'I'm being overambitious, I'm trying to say too much, I'll never accomplish it.' But I feel proud of the fact that I did get to make all my points."
One of the most important points Madge reportedly makes in the documentary is that any crisis comes with solutions, however hard-won and piecemeal.

This film isn't about Madonna herself, its about children dying of AIDS in Africa. And if Madonna didn't care, she wouldn't be spending her own money funding this project to help save lives… GROW UP and acted your age people…

If she wanted people to see it, she should have PAID to put it on a more viewed station so more would see the problem over there. not go for an artsey type station where people don't expect documentaries

It's a sad situation in Africa, and I have donated time/money to AIDS organizations here in the USA…but I will never send a single penny to any organization that this old slut is associated with. Maybe people should watch it not because she is Madonna but because she's the only person who is really giving a voice to Malawi. I don't really see any other celebs giving a f*ck about Africa so why don't you ignore the fact that she's a "smelly old b*tch" and instead focus on the fact that she is the only person giving any kind of publicity to a huge problem. I think she deserves some respect for that. I would think an "African" American would care more about the fate of their homeland than their hatred for a pop star.
