Was anybody else as underwhelmed by this as us????
Everyone wants BritBrit to do succeed and she's trying, but….she's not quite there.
It seems like her "spark" is gone. That confidence. That special ability Britney had to "sell it" like none of her other contemporaries.
Her performance of Circus seemed lethargic. Lacking confidence. And with way too much walking! She didn't even walk well!
Hopefully she will get "it" back over time.
Do U think she can????

i agree but she also hasn't been doing this for as long as she did before. i think after touring a little she will get more used to it and feel more comfortable.
It was ok, just not the same energy as she used to have.
I was there and i thought she was great! Her entire family including the boys were in the 2nd row so I imagine she didn't want to be shaking her ass like a crazy person in their face. I thought she was great!

I loved it. She was GORGEOUS! So what she doesnt dance as hard as she used to. She has a bum knee and is probably just working it slowly back into things. DONT JUDGE!
This is what the "comeback" is all about.
1) Going out "on top".
2) Shit Shit has to replace all the money that she let Allie, Sam and HADman steal from her.
3) This is "proof" to her "babies" that their birth did not turn mommie into a major bipolar fuckup.
4) Stick a fork in it, Shit Shit! The curtain has come down on the circus a long time ago.

She was amazing. I think your eyes are losing it. Maybe you should go get them checked out. She was simply amazing and you need to stop hating on her. She is finally back and better than she ever was. So STOP hating on her and just leave her alone. You are part of the reason she had the meltdown. Showcasing her downfall like she is some kind of freak. You should be ashamed.

perez, you cant expect her to just jump right back into how she used to be. its going to take some time before she gets to the level of performing that she once was. I am really proud of her. she at least got out there to promote this cd unlike blackout. i think she did a great job, and i think she is doing the best she can.

She seemed fine to me. Considering all that she's been through, she did very well. Although she should just stay home with her babies. It would be the best thing for her and them.

I guess unless you've hit rock bottom you really don't realize the magnitude of what it takes to pull yourself out of it, I can't imagine doing the whole thing in the public eye to begin with. Circus was great, Womanizer could have been better.. she did look stiff but she also looked like she was enjoying herself, which if you watched the documentary- is the only reason she is doing all this again. I think she deserves credit here P, she is starting to look more comfortable on stage and she does look like she is truly enjoying this.. I have seen Katy Perry and many others completely BLOW live.. she wasn't THAT bad. The CD is bad ass and I hope she keeps on doin her thing even though everyone seems to be dying to watch her fall.. she looked AMAZING!

The problem is that…. she really is an entertainer, not a singer! We all know that. She became famous b/c she could dance and perform. If she's losing it, then what does she really have to offer the entertainment world. I was really hoping and expecting a knockout, but it just wasn't there… There is definitely something missing… I think it's confidence! those people screwed her up!!

HI! I just watched the video and I tried to view it without bias. After seeing it, I believe she killed it. Considering her recent hectic schedule, you would expect her to be a bit challenged. In the sense of you questioning her physical prowess, she performed remarkably well with the added strain of having to move under such immense muscle!
i thought it was good! i was no 'im a slave 4 u' at the vmas like 7 years ago, but it was alot better than her recent performances!

As a choreographer I think she needs more motion with her head and shoulders. She looks like she is trying to be too "careful". Face, head and shoulders add a lot of personality and sexiness.

She has made a great comeback. Unfortunately, it is very hard to shake off the image of her losing "it"- so that, in essence, will make it very difficult for her to find "it" again.

I didn't think it was too bad but you can def tell she doesn't have the charisma that she once had when on-stage…hopefully w/ touring she can get it back to where it was!

She looked great…but not enough dancing…we shouldn't blame her, but her choreographer for that (he was all over her show the other night)
I watched it and thought she did good.
She definitely does not look completely comfortable dancing but she had moments when she was great. I think she will do well…just needs to become more confident in herself. Her body looked amazing. And her kids were sooo cute.

I don't really think she has. I mean, I think the fact that it's blindingly obvious that she is lipsyncing takes away a lot from the performance. Maybe she should strip down back to basics (Sorry for 2 Christina album's in that sentence :/ ) and learn to sing and dance at the same time. I think that would really blow everyone anyway.

I thought she did pretty well! Perhaps she wasn't AS enthusiastic in her dancing as she once was…but I think she's getting there. Already a noticeable improvement from some of the earlier Circus performances (like that first one in Germany). She seems to be slowly gaining back her confidence!
