Star magazine is reporting that teen mom Jamie Lynn Spears had liposuction.
While she was pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!
The former Nickelodeon star reportedly got worried when she thought she was putting on too much weight.
And, apparently not knowing she was preggers, she begged her mom to let her get lipo, says a source.
It seems mom of the year, Lynn Spears, allowed her daughter to get it.
WTF happened to exercising and dieting????? Plush, she's a teenager!
Another source says, Jamie "didn't know she was pregnant when she filled out the health questionnaire prior to the procedure. Her mom approved the injections and went through tons of red tape to get the clinic to administer them to an underage patient."
The procedure is not recommended for pregnant mommies.
One plastic surgeon, Dr. Gary Burton, says "Any form of liposuction is dangerous and should not be performed on a pregnant woman. It poses serious health risks to the fetus."

its the anesthesia and medications and possible complications that can f up an unborn child not the surgery…unless you have a really bad doctor that can take out too much material at once or even stab you in the stomach if you are having the lipo on your abdomen…

Rabidparadise79 & JNEV, it is NOT standard procedure for a Dr to conduct a pregnancy test before doing surgery on a woman! I've had a number of surgeries, and not once was I given a pg test beforehand. The only time I've even been ASKED if I could be pg was prior to an xray.
I'm calling BS on this one. Prior to every medical procedure that I have ever had, my doctors/nurses made me take a pregnancy test just to rule out any possibility.
I'm not doubting that she had a little lipo, but probably not while pregnant.

I very seriously doubt this is true. Its a general rule that when a woman is having any type of surgical procedure they have to have a pregnancy test to go under anesthesia along with a physical. They would've known she was pregnant. I dont buy it….
People, let's put aside the fact that getting lipo while preggers is stupid beyond belief but what nobody is considering is whenever you go for any kind of procedure you must do pre-op admission. Meaning that she has to get a pregnancy test before going for anesthesia even of it is a minor procedure. It's the law and it doesn't matter if you're in Hollywood or in a small town…. So, maybe the mag is a bit off on this one!

Most likely this is false. Before you get any type of medical procedure you have to have blood work done and on women they always do a pregnancy test. When my daughter was 12 she had tubes put in her ears and had to get a pregnancy test done because she had already hit puberty. So, I highly doubt this. Of course, I'm sure that you didn't even check this out before you printed it because you wanted to be first. I hope if it's not true that the Spears family fucking sues you for defamation! It would serve you right for once to get sued and YOU have to pay out!

i think this is false….i work in an operating room–before any surgical procedure on a female that is still having periods there is a urine pregnancy test performed, unless you have had a hysterectomy or other procedure to indicate that you aren't able to be pregnant.

It's bullshit. When you have a procedure that requires anesthestic (like liposuction), they always run a pregnancy test on women in their childbearing years. It is part of the normal blood screen. So if she was having liposuction and was pregnant, they would know before the procedure was done.
