no-one reads the news paper anymore do they??
on-line i do.
They just have to wrap their mountain oysters in something else.
NJ PAUL TAKES IT UP THE ASS AND LOVES IT! DON'T LET HIM FOOL YOU!
most newspapers are in trouble these days.
and I care why?
Re: LettyB Thanks All Her Fans! – lol
loved your comment about tim hortons!
big fucking deal .. cycle of life …. evolution …. progress
The Rocky Mtn. News and the Denver Post are the same company - they combined years ago so if they go out of business it is sad for the employees, but it has no affect on the news in Denver. The company running them has had a monopoly on the print news for several years now, so the only advantage to someone buying it is that we might get more than one opinion from now on in Denver.
less paper save trees
fold, newspaper. That's funny
Another liberal newspaper gets what it deserves?
a newspaper down is a sad thing
but GO online bloggers!
Dean Singleton is going to buy it, cut the staff in half, and make it sisters with his Denver Post to add to his evil MediaNews empire.
Whoa, I take that back. I didn't know Singleton owned the Rocky Mtn. News. So does this mean that his evil empire is about to collapse? Oh, I hope so. He has a stranglehold on the SoCal market and too many of my friends are slaves under his regime.
My mom is going to hate that. That's her paper! Sorry mom.
Re: richiephx – If Singleton owns it, it is NOT a liberal paper. That guy makes Karl Rove look like Ralph Nader.
Re: Sugarcube – I agree Sugarcube…there has been SUCH a monopoly on the newspaper system in Denver…I thought that wasn't allowed?? Regardless, it IS sad no matter where you live in the country. These people are not only losing their jobs but we are losing a part of American history and Americana. It is hard to say "Extra! Extra! Read all about it!" on an online site, lol.
It is also sad because not everyone uses the internet. My grandmother will be sad. This is where she gets her news! I know everything evolves, but this is sad!
The biggest reason I stopped subscribing to the Rocky was because it was full of ads instead of news. I got tired of looking at a sales catalog in my newspaper.
