Shia's Hand Injury Causes Him To Lose A Job

Bad boyShia LaBeouf has had to drop out of a new film because of his still injured hand.
Apparently, LaBeouf was going to star in Neal Burger's flick, Dark Fields, which was going to start shooting this fall.
Filming was postponed because of Shia's injury after getting into a car accident while drunk this past summer. But, now, Shia has completely withdrawn from the movie.
A source says, "Shia’s hand is totally shattered, it’s much worse than anyone thought." Shia will most likely need more surgery on the area around his thumb.
So, does this mean Shia dropped the flick because he figured the movie was going to suck?
Or was his hand injury really the problem?

There is no DUI - read my other post. Pigez is making it sound like there is a DUI happening but it didn't. If anything, Shia kept them from being totalled. His passenger didn't have a scratch - so does that sound like DUI?????

It's possible the movie sucks. Lmao. However, I really do think it deals with his hand. He was lucky enough to have Michael Bay write in his hand injury in "Transformers 2," but I just can't see every movie he's casted in writing in that the character has a hand injury. Hahaha. Hopefully he gets his hand fixed and healed again. It would really suck for him to missing out on movies because of the injury. Regardless of what anyone thinks he is a good young actor.

If Shit-eater was not drunk when the accident happened, why did he refuse a sobriety test? NO ONE who is sober has anything to fear from a sobrety test.

In fact, taking the test (as he was required to by law) would have PROVEN TO THE WORLD that he had not been drinking. He knew very well that he was drunk - several witnesses saw him slamming whisky shots at the Troubadour a few hours before the accident.

LaJunk has been VERY lucky up to this point - good lawyers and friends in high places have gotten him out of trouble. But one of these days, this jerk's luck is going to run out, and all of the high-powered publicists and attorneys in Hollywood will not be able to rescue his career…..
