Another One's Biting the Dust
Filed under: Media MinuteLast week it was the Colorado's Rocky Mountain News.
On Sunday, news leaked that our hometown newspaper, The Miami Herald, is up for sale.
Its parent company, The McClatchy Co., is burdened by debt so they have to let one of their crown jewels go.
Newspaper advertising revenues just aren't what they used to be!

okay, the economy has led to a decrease in advertising in print, but readership was declining too. Not the economy doing it, but the internet. Things get replaced as technology improves. why spend hundreds a year for print when you are already shelling out money for the internet and the internet is up to the minute. Newspapers, magazines are also doing themselves in by posting most of the contents of their work on the net.
Hey Fag Nuts, speaking of Colorado, how are you Fudge Pack doing trying to ruin the Film Festival. HA HA HA HA
