Sober For Now
Brit songstress Lily Allen is gearing up for the release of her second album and in a recent interview with the UK's Observer, she says she's off the sauce and drugs for the moment.
In fact, Lils revealed that she hasn't had a drink since the end of September.
Is that why she's been so nice these days?!
The wake up call?
Apparently, she was portrayed as a drunk in a comic book and she wasn't too pleased.
But, we could see Lils up to her 'old' antics in the future! She manages expectations and doesn't completely swear off drugs/booze in the interview:
"I have no intention of taking drugs again at the moment. But I can't say 'Never again,' because I don't know where I'll be in 10 years' time. And I will definitely drink in the future, just not for awhile."
We like nice, sober Lily the best!

She already looks ten times better. She has all the classic symptoms of alcoholism, and will no doubt have to hit more bottoms before she quits for good. Me, being an alcoholic myself, had to lose jobs, friends, and a lot of dignity before I mad a decision to change. It's tough, but going to meetings and the support of friends really go a long way! I hope she feels the change in her mental and physical state, and stays sober one day at a time.
