L.A. Critics Heart WALL-E. Names Animated Flick 2008's Top Film

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Film Critics Association awarded its 2008 best picture honor to Pixar's WALL-E.
Other award winners include,
- Sean Penn , best actor for Milk
- Sally Hawkins , best actress for Happy-Go-Lucky
- Heath Ledger ,best supporting-actor winner for The Dark Knight
- Penelope Cruz, best supporting-actress choice for Vicky Cristina Barcelona
- Danny Boyle, best director for Slumdog Millionaire
- Mike Leigh, best screenplay for Happy-Go-Lucky

Penelope was AMAZING in Vicky Christina Barcelona
It will be a travesty of justice if Sean Penn doesn't walk away with the Oscar for Milk - it's one of his best performances to date.

Re: Mistress – g'day………….you know…evil greedy filthy humans polute the planet till there's no room/resources left to live on…..wall-e is last trash collector robot left behind….people have evolved into oversized parade-blimp slug zombies living in solitary virtual worlds on a space station…….EEEvva the space robot is sent to earth for exploration…..the two fall in love….manage to reintroduce emotion and nature to humanity………oh yeah….wallee has in his possession the only living plant in the universe……and of course, a big conspiracy theory weaves throughout the plot…..the end………..animation was good…and i was sucked into that aspect for 90 minutes
