Braxton Removes Tumor

Toni Braxton has had a pretty bad time with her health this year!
As y'all know, Toni's heart problems forced the closing down of her Vegas stage show. She was later replaced by the Osmonds, Donny & Marie.
Now, the singer is revealing that she didn't appear on the finale of Dancing With the Stars last month because turns out Braxton had a benign tumor removed from her breast the week before the finale.
According to Toni, she knew about the tumor before she appeared on the show, but she scheduled the surgery to remove it only after being eliminated in October.
She says, "Getting the boot on the show was actually a blessing in disguise for me. My grandmother on my dad's side died of breast cancer, and I have aunts on both sides that have breast cancer."
Why would she risk it? Why not have had it removed months ago before joining the show? Is DWTS really that important?
Thankfully, though, Braxton is doing much better now after surgery. She is even scheduled to appear on the DWTS tour later this month.

Great! Now she can remove the tumor from the top of her left foot! WTF is that?
If I had a tumor, I'd be getting it removed ASAP. Maybe her doctors gave her the green light to compete in the show. Some tumors grow very slowly. Still, if it was me, I'd be in surgery. Especially w/ breast cancer and she's said she has a family history w/ the disease. Get well Toni!

When she had the tumor done, she should had something done with her fuglieness she calls her belly button.. She's got an big ass outtie! HaH
I would have had that tumor checked before dancing with the stars!
The show can wait! My health is more important! Mammograms are not fun but they are life saving. I would have had it removed pronto! Cancer waits for no one! Take care Toni!

A few things,
first off Toni is doing just fine =)
Second she has 2 small boys, Denim 7 & Diezel 5.
The lump was not cancerous.
Make sure to catch her on the DWTS tour if you can and also keep your ears out for her new single early next year =)
Doctors can determine if it is cancerous BEFORE surgery… that's what happened to me last year… You can wait if the doctors give you the go-ahead.

I just LOVE how the media diminishes breast cancer in its young celebrities. It is the LEADING cause of cancer deaths in women. Dude! People die from this shit. It's not just a cut this out and move along sort of a deal.
