I FELT LIKE CERTAIN RECORDS WERE KEEPING IT FROM BEING A PLAY IN EVERY ENVIRONMENT ALBUM. I WAS AT THE COOL STORE IN AUSTRALIA CALLED ASSIN THAT CARRIES RICK OWENS, LANVIN, DIOR ECT… THEY TOLD ME THEY PLAY MY NEW ALBUM IN THE STORE. IT WAS SUCH A BIG COMPLIMENT FOR ME TO HAVE SONGS THAT ARE NUMBER ONE ON 106 AND CAN PLAY RIGHT NEXT TO VAMPIRE WEEKEND, SADE OR SILVERCHAIR IN A HIGH END FASHION STORE! IT'S SUCH A TRIUMPH TO HAVE LOVE LOCK DOWN ON RADIO. WHEN IT COMES IN IT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE ANYTHING ELSE EVER MADE IN HISTORY! THIS IS NEW MUSIC! Kanye rocks…if i only bought one album this year it would be his and i have all his other stuff…when he's in town i pay to go see him and everytime i've seen him perform it was always different and fresh…his new stuff isn't like anything that any other rapper would try and that's why i like it…who cares if he's full of himself? i would be too…keep talking smack about him because seriously…i'm sure he don't even care…i just read everyone's comments and laughed…yeah you matter…

I have never bothered to listen to his music becuse he is so full of himself- He could be making more money if he just humbled himself. I'm sure many peope have stopped listening to his music for that reason alone as I've already read on this site.

I have never witnessed any other musical artist boast and gloat as much as Kanye West. It isn't like he is 2Pac or Notorious B.I.G. Those two individuals (RIP) exemplified rap to the utmost degree. IMHO, Kanye isn't a good rapper; if anything, he is descent at best. I don't think is late mother (RIP) would be too thrilled on how his son is carrying himself. Fame is only temporary. I'll hate to see how he reacts once his career begins to go down the toilet.
As far as modern day rappers are concerned, T.I. is the best. A skilled, remorseful and intelligent lyricist and rapper. He's modest, not to mention much better-looking than Kanye.
