Re: doreelee – the new fake g&r was just bad

    3. 203

I am happy about the Kings of Leon, but no Killers? That is a great album. IMO, Coldplay doesn't deserve to rate as high as they did.

    4. 204

What about Sam Sparro?! He isn't well known, but are half of these bands that well known? Sam's album was amazing, especially for a debut.

    5. 205

I really respect Rolling Stone when they make lists like this. They actually look at the quality of the album, not the popularity (I'm a little disappointed the Jonas Brothers are on there!) I'm so glad to see TV on the Radio on there! Also…Bon Iver, MGMT, The Raconteurs, Be Your Own Pet, and Hot Chip! All these artists deserve to be on there!

      Re: ncb_gramrock – I agree! I love Arcade Fire!

    10. 210

what an old fart magazine to not have t.i katy perry and mariah carey and no kanye is a huge joke i never read that magazine anymore for this reason they have the same editors as they did when the mag came out in the 60's lets see what ew has to say

    11. 211

Nice to see Black Keys on list and no fucking Kylie bloody Minogue shite. Could have done without the children that are Jonas Bros ( pukesville cheesy crap ) Otherwise a good list.Did no spot Elbow: Seldom Seen Kid ..are they mental it is an immaculate album.?

      What a load of shit!
Taylor Swift, AC/DC and nine inch nails should be higher up.
I can't believe Duffy got higher than AC/DC
      whhaaatttt?
      :)

    15. 215

    16. 216

where's Britney and Madonna and Janet??

    17. 217

they shoulda included Dido there.cuz she's the best

    18. 218

where the hell is jason mraz!?!?

    19. 219

i registered for this site just to say how happy i am Deathcab isnt on the list.
idk if it's subliminal messages or some other horrid form of mind control, but the circlejerk to deathcab needs to stop.
they're just what self proclaimed indie kids to listen to because they're too cool to listen to mainstream pop.

    24. 224

      Yay!!!! The Academy Is…!!!!

    25. 225

how the fuck did that piece of shit chinese democracy get #12 and the pretenders didnt even get on the list with boots of chinese plastic which sums up our consumerized life right now

    26. 226

The fact that the Jonas Brothers and Taylor Swift made this list instantly invalidates it.

    27. 227

Re: JustHereforThis – I love you.

    28. 228

I dont think anyone should be paying out the Jonas Brothers for being on the list. Just because they are teenagers does not mean that they should be treated like little kids. They are way more talented then most adults you hear these days and they have created a huge name for themselves. You need to listen to their music without judging them just because they are from disney. Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera all started out with disney and now they are huge. You need to give the jonas bros are chance before you diss them. and they should totally be higher up on the list. Way higher then Taylor Swift.

    29. 229

vampire weekend.. YES!! of Montreal.. YES!! WHERES THE KILLERS?!?!?!?!?!

    30. 230

      #40 ! The Jonas Brothers should've been #1 !

    31. 231

      NO PANIC AT THE DISCO?!

BUT THE JONAS BROTHERS ARE ON IT?

    32. 232

Where is Mr. A-Z????? We sing, We dance, we steal things should deff be on here!!
