Horrible!

Sooo sad.

Macaulay Culkin's 29-year old sister, Dakota, died on Wednesday after being struck by a car.

On Tuesday, she was walking in West L.A. when she stepped off a curb and was struck by a car.

She was rushed to the UCLA medical center and sadly died yesterdays from the injuries sustained.

Slow the eff down, L.A. drivers!

We've seen many of you almost plow down pedestrians and bike riders because you're driving tooo effing fast.

Our thoughts go out to the Culkin family.

la a drivers are horrible…just the other day a first grade student and his mother was hit by a car on the way to the elementary school i work at….the mother ended up dying…its so sad how often stuff like this happens

You can't just blame the driver. Obviously if she step off the curb in front of the car, she was not paying attention. Both parties are to blame.

      SAD…RIP

Aw, that's heartbreaking. That poor family. Did she have kids/husband?

    5. 105

      Rest In Peace Dakota Culkin.
      That is so very sad.

    6. 106

Isn't it her responsibility to look where she's going BEFORE she steps out into the road?

    7. 107

      INAPPROPRIATE PICTURE PEREZ, GEEEZUZ!!

    8. 108

That family sure has had it's share of life/hell.

    9. 109

    10. 110

so perez, you really needa get things straight before you post them.
she stepped out in front of the car!

also, the driver wasnt charged with anything because it wasnt his fault.

I net her once at a bar in the village. Her friend told me not to talk about Mac, but I was drunk so I talked about Kieran. She seemed to enjoy the change of pace. She was sweet.

    13. 113

See…it's times like this, when the ugly comments and shallow queens and teenagers who flock to this site–have to take a minute to realize that life can be taken away in ONE second. BAM. No more. So we should all try to be a little nicer to one another while we're still here. We never know when our time will come.

    17. 117

      so sad. :(

    18. 118

I am sorry, but how can you be sure it's the driver's fault? You can't just step off the curb into the path of an oncoming car and expect them to stop and see you! Seriously…people need to learn to STOP and LOOK BOTH WAYS before crossing the street. My freaking six year old knows this.

    19. 119

      That's so sad
      R.I.P.

    20. 120

I LOVE Mac. So hot these days.. terrible terrible news about his sister. I wish their family all the best and my prayers are with them~

    21. 121

Is that the beautiful little child who plays with him in "The Good Son"?
      This makes me very sad.

    22. 122

Awww….this really is so sad. Around the holidays no less. I've been there. My thoughts and prayers are also with the Culkin Family!

p.s. People, this is tragic, and to even make jokes at all (ie"Was it Miley?"), is just plain wrong. Everything is NOT fun and games!

Re: SWEETPIECE! – Amen! MOST LA DRIVERS DRIVE RECKLESSLY AND THEY DON'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE PEDESTRIANS!

    24. 124

According to main-stream media, she stepped in front of the car off the curb. The driver had no options. The driver had no drinking or drugs onboard. He stopped immediately and did whatever was possible to save her.
      .
I can't imagine the pain he must be going through. I'm betting either Dakota was messed up and didn't realize her situation, or she tripped off of the curb, or (most disturbing) she was committing suicide. I HATE when someone drags another totally unknown person into their selfish act of suicide. That person is left living a full life knowing they 'killed' someone, even if they had no way of stopping it.
      .
      Peace to the Culkin family.

    25. 125

That's so sad! Slow down ya'll, seriously!

    26. 126

AAAWWWW. Sad for anybody to have a loved one die. Very Tragic

    27. 127

That is so sad, my thoughts are with them!
I also read that a few years ago he lost his half-sister.
Losing 2 loved ones in a few years is just awful.
