Harry Potter - Coming To A City Near You!

As if the Harry Potter empire couldn't make enough money, Warner Brothers is announcing a new "experience."
Starting on April 30th in Chicago at the Museum of Science and Industry, Harry Potter: The Exhibition will begin its international tour.
According to a press release, Brad Globe, President of Warner Bros Consumer Products, said “We are proud to present this unique exhibition, which captures the magic of Harry Potter and will give fans of all ages a front row seat to some of the most iconic artifacts and scenic elements from the beloved films.”
Fans will be able to go and see props and costumes from the movie displayed in the museum.
The Harry Potter exhibit will run in Chicago through September 7th, 2009.
After Chicago, the exhibition will be displayed in other venues across the U.S. and internationally.
It will also be updated to include new artifacts and items from the upcoming Harry Potter flicks.
Tickets are on sale already for $26 for adults, $19 for children, and $25 for senior citizens, with discounted prices for everyone during the evening hours after the museum closes.

I think a lot of Potter fans have turned Twilight….for now. Once the new Harry Potter movie gets closer and closer, they'll go back to Potter. Like me. I LOVED all the Harry Potter movies, and as of right now, I'm saying screw Potter and Hello Twilight, haha. but I'm still SO SO excited for The Half Blood Prince.
harry potter has got it –hands down. Twilight was a good idea in theory, but that movie looked really cheezy. Like a cheap HBO series.

Re: Listen To Robert Pattinson – You should give the books a shot. I read the last 3 books in record time haha. They're much more detailed than the movies (which are still very detailed) and they're just a little different. If you've seen all the movies so far, I would recommend reading the third or fifth book. those are really good

I know that as many Harry Potter fans we have out there it is important for WB to keep everyone pumped up until the other movies come out. Not only does it raise money for the greedy bastards, it helps keep Potter alive in the minds of all of the fans. I'd actually be excited to check out this exhibition to see what they bring to the table. Who knows it might satisfy some fans being as how the movies didn't quite follow the books step by step.
As far as "Twilight" getting in the way…It's very possible to be in love with both stories. I saw Twilight and I must say I was not as pleased as I thought I would have been. But the first time I saw Harry Potter, I was amazed.
I wouldn't choose a side over the other… I'd like to see both continue strongly in their paths.

The twilight movie SUCKED and the books are shallow with a barely-there plot and absolutely no character development. Harry Potter is on a completely different level. perez, perez, perez….. everybody who isn't a delusional, hormonal 14 year old girl (or a 30 year old man with a huge boner for Robert PAttinson) knows that Harry Potter series is far superior to Twilight. I have read the both series in its entirety so I have the right to say that though Twilight was rather exciting, the rest of the series, particularly the final book, Breaking Dawn, sucked complete balls, and Stephanie Meyers is a crappy author (not to mention a total biotch to her fans). JK Rowling wrote an incredible series that has literally influenced the world and will continue to do so forever (like Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, etc.). Twilight will continue to only to appeal to simpleminded tweens and guys who want to bone Rpatz. that is all.

We all know you have major wood for Robert Pattison, Perez - that's the only explanation for this idiotic comparison. I have read the Twlight books, will see the movie - but to suggest that it even comes CLOSE to competing with Harry Potter is laughable.
HA! Twilight has nothing on Harry Potter. Today I went to see this POS movie that sucked away too much of my life. The pace of the movie is agonizingly long and borring. I love vampire movies but this one left me almost falling asleep and wishing I hadn't wasted my money. The HP films never leave me feeling that way.
I want to see harry potter and the half-blood prince! I'm still mad at warner bros. for the delay! movie I say! movieeee.

I had never even heard of friggin' Twilight until I saw it on Perez's blog. From the sounds of it it only appeals to teen girls and 30-something-year-old homo bloggers - Harry Potter definitely has universal appeal and is enjoyed by young, old, str8, gay alike, ALL OVER THE WORLD and even by those outside of our solar system.

Harry Potter will always have it, since is the one that started this readind feast among youg readers. They are both very special in their own right. We are very fortunate to have two wonderful writers that allow us a vision of their imagination.
