This has nothing to do with the republicans, it just so happens that we have a republican president at the time. This has been in the making for a VERY long time, in fact, since Clinton decided that everyone should own a home and that everyone should be allowed credit…..even if they cant afford to pay it back.
Its not the republicans fault and it is not my greed (since I am a republican) that got us into this mess, I did not sell my childrens futures out b/c you want to know why? This might get to complicated for you so read very carefully. 1. My husband went into a career field with JOB SECURITY he will never be laid off.
2. We own a home that we CAN AFFORD, we didnt need a hugh house with a bunch of expensive things in it to make us happy.
3. We paid off our vehicles.
4. We are not in credit card debt b/c we dont buy things that we dont need just to make us happy.
5. We live withing our means.
There are five examples of why MY children did not get sold out by the republicans.
We are smart and down to earth, we value the things we have and we dont ask for anything from the government.
And to think we are only in our late 20's if only everyone our age would pull their heads out their asses and wake the fuck up.

So i work for BOA and have for a few years. We have recently been merging with many other companies and everytime we do, people are laid off. There is no need to have two of every department when we buy a company so after the company official becomes BOA, most of their employees are laid off. The bank is in the middle of converting Countrywide and will then move on to Merril Lynch which was just bought. It's said that all these people will lose their jobs, but its assumed most will really be mostly Countrywide and Merril Lynch associates.

Do I feel sorry for people who lose jobs, sure I do. Do I think the government should get them out of their troubles, no I dont. People lose jobs all the time, they used to just pick themselves up and move on and find a new job they didnt cry to the government or blame the government.
