It seems that in the U.K., American Idol and X Factor judge, Simon Cowell, is actually more famous than God!
A recent survey showed that British kids rated the judge of mean to be more famous than God or even the Queen of England.
Snubbed!
This annual survey consisted of 1,600 children under the age of 10 in the town of Luton.
Well, it might be safer to say then that children in Luton think Cowell is more famous that God.
As for Cowell, he rose from last year's fifth spot and took the Queen out of the top spot this year. Apparently, God came in second last year to the Queen, who is now overshadowed by Cowell.
According to the kiddies, it turns out that the "very worst things in the world" for them is "being fat."
And, when asked what they would do if they were queen or king of the world, the most popular answer what to have a "ban on divorce."
Sad, yet touching.
But, Cowell being voted more popular than God, that's just going to send his ego through the roof - more so than it already is!

It's hard to believe that he would take such a survey seriously, but if he did, it would be his undoing. To enter the level of conceit that is implied in the survey would be to tempt the hand of fate. Surely he wouldn't risk getting his comeuppance just because of the opinions of some very young and misinformed children.

Simon Cowell can't avoid peoples hateful (jealous) comments. He is HONEST, SUCCESSFUL, GOOD LOOKING, RICH, and if I were on American Idol I would pay Special Attention to HIS comments. They are True, Honest, Right To The Point, commentary on what he as a Successful Promoter Really Sees. He is not one bit Mean, telling someone with little to no talent he needs to look for success elsewhere is just HONESTY. He never claims to give more than JUST HIS OPINION and isn't he entitled to one? I'd take what he told me to heart.

so i just spent that last 20 min looking for the results of this survey because i am very intrested in what young minds think. Maybe i'm on my period today, but i CANNOT FUCKING FIND THESE RESULTS, apparently there is a Canadian version aswell, wouldn't mind reading that, but i'd definently like to see the American version if one even exists. If someone or Mario get lead me to the link of at least the luton survey for children, it would help this bitch not need another smoke. thank you.

I used to live in Luton and sadly, they are not an example of Britain's finest. Luton did get voted No1 in The Crap Towns Award in like 2004. So I think that says it all. The best thing about Luton is waving it goodbye in your rear view mirror on the M1.
